Where are they now? ~ Anglianbus Beaver Special

A special edition in the series taking a look at where the Plaxton Bavers are now which used to dominate the Anglian Bus fleet up until around 2007 when they started to get pushed out by Euro 4 engine buses.

First of we have AU53GWC, during its time with Anglian it was based at the Beccles depot running mainly Beccles Town Services, she can now be found with West Scotland independent Henderson Travel.

Sisters AU04BZT & AU04BZV ran from the Rackheath depot when it first opened in 2004, running service 23A in Norwich which is the current 999 Service. They can now be found with Scottish independent McNarins.

X477XVG and X476XVG were two of four brand new buses Anglian brought in 1999 when Anglian began its first bus service for Norfolk County Council, the 580, using 4 new buses between Diss and Gt Yarmouth.
She as well can now be found with a Scottish independent in the form of McGills.

T81JBA spent time at both Rackheath and Beccles depot while at Anglian, when at Beccles she mainly ran service 165. She is now with Wiltshire independent Beeline Coaches. Its sister T82JBA had gone to Western Greyhound for spares.

T300CBC ran service 600 in Great Yarmouth with Anglian up until Swift Taxis took over the service, then she was sold to a East Anglia operator in the form of Galloway mainly running services in the Ipswich area. She now carries cherished registration plate 3379PP.

KX51UDH mainly ran services from the Beccles depot with Anglian, it can now be found with Wiltshire based Faresaver running a variety of Private Hire and contract services.

Y784WHH was once again one of many Beavers running Beccles town services with Anglianbus. She is now with Devons largest independent operator, CountryBus.

Finally, AO02LVE another Beccles town service regular with Anglian, can now be found with Kirbys Lonsdale in Lancaster. Its sister, AO02LVC only left the Anglian fleet more recently.
